Outland Adventure - Davao City

Having a great Outland Adventure

Outland adventure was created by a group of people who are concerned for the life of  youths in Davao City. It is  specialized adventure-based program designed to be relevant and applicable to the issues youth face every single day.

Outland adventure is perfect for adventurous people. It doesn't only provide adventure but also a life changing program which you can learn many things such as trust, communication, team work, decision making, leadership and many more. That is why this place is highly recommended for team building activities for different kinds of groups whether it would be a corporation, company, church, government or even just your own group of friends. Their team building program can effectively serve your organization.

Their service include reverse bungee jumping, high ropes circuit, 200 ft from the ground and the fastest zipline in Asia, The Xcelerator zipline.

I remember when we had a church activities for young people in Outland Adventure it was really an unforgettable moment. We had so much fun and we learn many things from all the activities we did there.

D' Leonor Hotel Inland Resort and Wave Pool

Personally I like beach more than pool but what makes me want to visit this place are their amenities and wave pool. It is not my first time to swim in a wave pool. I had my first experience in Emars Hotel but D'Leonor has much to offer. The first time I been in D'Leonor was when my mother called me to come over to D'Leonor. They are having their field trip for her nursery and kindergarten  students. The place is soo big it is about 26 hectares. Good thing they have free shuttle service to tour you around the area of course it would be very tiring to walk xD.

This place offers many activities you can enjoy not only for children but also for adult. They have mini zoo, zip line, hanging bridge, wall climb, fun park, fishing area, basketball area, ATV and many more.. sorry I have poor memory I can't enumerate all. I haven't explore the place the first time I went there because I was from work (night shift). I told my boyfriend that we should visit D'Leonor because I really want to try their wave pool thank goodness he said yes! ^__^

How to go to D' Leonor Hotel Inland Resort

Ride a taxi and tell the driver D'leonor Hotem Inland Resort and he will take you there but I think that would be kinda expensive it would be better ride a Jeep. From Downtown area ride a jeep going to Buhangin Panacan and tell the driver to drop you in Jose Maria College across that school you will see a motor that can take you to D'Leonor Hotel Inland.

Cottages in the pool area.

What I love about their room is that it is like a mini house. It has living room, kitchen with oven and ref and bedroom  own bathroom. They have also free breakfast!

They have lots of amenities but some are not yet operational or still under construction. I hope in the coming days, months, years they will be fully operational. I really love their concept.

Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort - Samal Island

I was always been in this beach resort for many many many times already. When I was in Highschool, Paradise Island was always been a favorite Field trip destination of my school (Lifestream International College). I guess because they have nice and clean beach, aviary, park, children play ground, restaurant which offer delicious food especially sea food, stores where you can buy drinks, healthy snack food and souvenir, lastast but not the least they have Recreational Games and Water Sports.

See? They just don't offer a nice beach but a lot more. No wonder why this was always my school favorite destination.

After I graduated highschool I thought I will not be visiting much of Paradise Island again but I was lucky that this was also one of the favorite destination for retreats and hang out area of the mission group that I am with before. Paradise Island offer everything we need aside from what I wrote awhile ago they also have lots of rooms  and they also have Convention Halls.

I remember one early morning I think it was holiday our Pastor said, "Okay today we will go to Paradise Island" and we were like whaatt? Seriously? We are not yet mentally prepared xD He just said we will be leaving in 30 minutes. We prepared our things in just 30 minutes. I just grabbed whatever the first clothes my hands touched. xD

How to go to Paradise Island? Easy! just tell the taxi driver that you want to go Paradise Island and he will bring you where you can ride a boat going directly to Paradise Island. If you prefer riding a jeep.. Take Sasa route and tell the jeepney driver the same thing.

Ate Vanessa and Ate Evan are ready to go Paradise Island!

Waig Crystal Spring Resort - Maramag Bukidnon

As I was writing my blog these past few days, I remembered the first and hopefully not the last time I went to Bukidnon. It was a good experience for me. Bukidnon is such a nice and beautiful place.

I'm lucky that not so long time ago I belonged in a mission group (GMBT Worldwide Ministry Inc) We have lots of activities including having retreats. One of the most unforgettable for me is our retreat in Waig Crystal Spring Resort in Maramag Bukidnon.

We left Davao early in the morning. I think it was still 4:00 am when we left in Davao. It was really hard for me to wake up and I planned to continue my sleep on the road but my plan was cancelled because my group mates always ask the driver to stop for awhile because they want to take a look of the view. On the way to Bukidnon you will see many great views therefore it is not a bad idea to stop for awhile and enjoy the view.

Below are some of our photos on the way to Bukidnon.

When we arrived in Waig Crystal Resort. I was amazed at how big the area is. It is 3.6 Hectares. It was so huge that I am not sure if I already tour the whole place. My favorite part was their cable cars, zip line and of course their pool with many slides. Their pool is not your ordinary pool because it is chlorine free it is because the water in pool is from the waterfalls near the pool that flows from the natural source. Going to pool area you can ride in their cable cars but there are times we choose to walk down to the pool area. It is not that difficult but going back to our room is difficult. Climbing the stairs is a pain in the legs T^T but it is a good exercise though.

They also have a hanging bridge. That time I was a little bit ignorant of hanging bridge. (Well I am still young that time xD) I am scared to cross that's why I didn't try. (I regret it now)

Mini Waterfalls ^__^

Blogger Notes: Sorry I don't have lots of photos of the place. I was still young and very poor that time I can't afford to buy my own cam xD

Enjoy Cebu City!

We don't have plans what to do in Cebu. We were so focused in Bohol and we forgot about Cebu. Since we don't have plan we just stroll around Cebu and go wherever our mind and our destiny bring us. xD

What did we find in Cebu?

1. Malls! There are lots of Malls here in Cebu.. There are some malls that are too crowded. I can even feel the air condition because of too much people but there are also malls that are not crowded.

2. Fort San Pedro

Fort San Pedro is a historical place. It was built for military defense by the Spaniards. Lets take a look inside ^__^

Paintings of the Spaniards and Filipino Heroes.

This is where students or group of people gather to do something like practice dancing, acting etc.

Upper part of the Fort San Pedro.. Looks like I am in Spanish time hehe

After taking a look inside the Fort San Pedro we went outside where there is a big field/park and some monuments..

3.  Basílica Minore del Santo Niño also known as Santo Nino Church. It is the oldest Roman Catholic Church established in the Philippines. Well the main reason why we went there is that we want to see Magellan's Cross. Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines.

Because of the strong earthquake they need to do some updates but it is still open for people to see.

4. Of course FOOOD!

Casa Verde Best Selling Brian's Rib

I don't know who is Brian but his rib is surely delicious xD .. When visiting Casa Verde you should try this one. You will not regret! Oh yeahh just a tip be early because Casa Verde has lots of customer you will end up like us we were waiting outside the restaurant because there are no vacant table. Good thing we didn't wait for too long and their food is worth waiting xD

Rico's Lechon

I really told my friends that we will not leave Cebu without trying Rico's Lechon. It is the best Lechon in Cebu! Well I saw in KrisTV that kris really love this and when I was watching her show that time I was really drooling  and I said to myself One day I will eat there haha Dream Come True!

Larsian sa Fuente

If you are Barbeque Addict This is the right place for you! You should not miss this place! The moment we entered this place there were so many choices and seller keep saying "Maam Sir eat here! We have lots of choices and we will give you discounts etcc" We don't know where to go haha Good thing we have a choleric friend who decide which one to choose for us xD

Taboan Public Market

Since it is  Filipino tradition of travellers bringing gifts from their destination to people back home. We went to Taboan Public Market to buy Danggit, Dried Mango, Otap, and other food which is known in Cebu. xD

Though we really didn't stay long in Cebu and we haven't explore all parts of Cebu especially their good resorts I must say I enjoyed my stay there.
