Secdea 8th year Anniversary Escaped!

Secdea is one of my favorite resort in Samal. It is been a long time I been dreaming to come here but my boyfriend doesn't want to go to this place because the road going to this resort was not yet cemented. Alas! The road now going to Secdea is fully cemented. Easy breezy ride!


We usually go to resorts that has room worth 3,000 pesos and below, more than 3,000 pesos is quite expensive for us. The cheapest room in Secdea is 4,000 pesos but we still give it a try since it looks good in the pictures and I received my commission from selling houses and we will be celebrating our 8th year anniversary.  I tell you I did not regret going to this place!

What I love about this resort?

1. Smooth Transaction. They will reply to your inquiries in their facebook page and will immediately confirm receipt once you email them your 50% down payment.

2. The place is spacious and awesome! They have two big pools, big restaurants and nice seashore. There are lots of things you can do here in Secdea. You can do Kayaking, Banana Boat Ride, Jet Ski, Archery, Wake Boarding, Island Hopping, Coral Tours, ATV Off road adventure and many more.

3. Their room was good and comfy. Even though we rented the cheapest room it doesn't look cheap. It was very cozy and spacious for 2 person.

4. Great service. When we arrived at the main gate they transported us to the reception area with their golf cart, from reception area to our room they take us with their golf cart. We only have to do one call and the golf cart will come to our room and take us wherever we want. 

5. I love their food. I enjoyed our dinner in their restaurant. The food taste great with a reasonable price. In the morning, we have our complimentary buffet breakfast. I must say this is the best buffet breakfast I ever had. There are lots of dish, desserts and foods to choose from.

6. Lots of Freebies! Aside from a good complimentary breakfast, we also had a free Kayak and archery.

The only problem we encounter when we stayed there was when we were sleeping, the lights were suddenly turn off and on. There was a time we can't enter our room because the door was not working but they have phone outside the room and we just called them and they fixed it immediately. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We had fun celebrating our 8th year anniversary. This place is really good for spending time with your love one, friends and family. I really recommend this place.

Amakan Room - Php4,000/night - good for 4 pax (non-aircon & use of common Toilet & Bath)
Talisay Room - Php4,000/night - good for 2 pax (150-meters away from the Restaurant, Pool, & Beach)
Sea Shell Room - Php5,890/night - good for 3 pax
Sea Breeze Lodge - Php8,140/night - good for 4 pax
Villa Secdea - Php18,500/night - good for 12 pax
Eastview Room - Php7,890/night - good for 4 pax
Family Room - Php15,000/night - good for 12 pax
Extra Person/ Bed Charge is Php1,200/person/night

*Check in time is at 2:00pm; Check out time is at 12:00nn
*Complimentary breakfast is served for overnight guests
*Complimentary Paddler Boat or Kayak usage of 30 mins. for overnight guests and 15 mins. for day tourer guests (with minimum group of 10 pax)
*Free room accommodation for maximum of 2 children, 7 yrs. below per group.
*Overnight guests enjoy free use of facilities such as Wi-fi Access, Cable TV, Hot/Cold showers, Swimming Pool and Beach
*Other amenities such as watersport equipment, ATV & UTV rides, fishing, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, & Basketball are available for a fee.
*Only proper swimwear is allowed in the pool.



How to go to Secdea:

In getting to Secdea, most of the guests prefer to come with their own vehicles. Ferry Boat is 24 hours operational. They do not have their own boat heading directly to the resort for now. You can also take a motorcycle for a more adventurous ride, they're everywhere around Samal barge area.

They also offer Van service for PhP1,000/way, maximum for 10 pax and Coaster Bus for PhP4,000/way, maximum of 35 pax. Pick up area is around Samal Pier, beside Camp Holiday (Phoenix Gasoline Station).
