Picobello Ristorante Italiano - For A Taste of Italy

6 years ago I wanted to eat in this restaurant but their branch in Gaisano Mall South was already closed before I had the opportunity. I just knew a month ago that they are re-open last year in another location because a friend of mine told me.

Why I wanted to eat here? It is because this restaurant serves an authentic Italian Dishes and one of the best pizza ever. That's what I heard and I want to find out if it is true. When we arrived there I loved how the restaurant looks like. The ambiance were relaxing and your view will be the big and beautiful houses of Monteritz Classic Estate. I didn't have the opportunity to take photos inside the restaurant because there were lots of people that time and almost half of them were foreigners. I don't want them to feel uneasy and will think that I am taking pictures of them. I also forgot to take photo of their menu as I was so excited to order and eat. As far as I remember their dish cost Php200 and above.

Below were the food we ordered:

Pizza!! I forgot what kind of pizza was this because it was in Italian language. This was really good that I thought I can eat the whole pizza.

Lasagne! This was so meaty but unlike in Filipino Style it was not really that sweet but I loved it!

Ravioli! I heard about this before but never tried one so out of curiosity I ordered this. The sauce was sour but not too much just perfect!

My overall experience was great. This place is a must try! You can bring your special someone, friends and family here for a special occasions.

Picobello Ristorante  is currently located in The Shoppes at Wood Lane Maa C.P Garcia Hwy commonly known as the Diversion Rd.

Post Kadayawan Company Activities at Ritz Hotel Garden Oases

"The Kadayawan Festival is an annual festival in the city of Davao in the Philippines. It names derives from the friendly greeting "Madayaw", from the Dabawenyo word "dayaw", meaning good, valuable, superior or beautiful. The festival is a celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gift of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of living. It held every third week of August."

This was the second time our company was having a Kadayawan activities. This year we had a tribal dance competition, OPM (Original Pilipino Music) singing competition and group photo shoot competition. Four teams were showcasing their talents and the culture of the tribe they are representing. I had fun watching the event because everyone really gave their best!

Below were the photos taken during the tribal dance competition.

Camp Holiday Resort at Samal Island!

I know this resort  since their opening, who wouldn't? The moment you arrive in Samal one of the first thing you will see is Camp Holiday Resort. Even though I know that they offer cheaper room rates compare to other resorts in Samal I still didn't go and check their resort why? It is because I thought who would like to go to this resort? It is just located next to the barge terminal for sure their beach is dirty and their resort is very small but I was wrong.

One day I was invited to go to this resort by my friend Hilda who is also a frustrated blogger like me xD check out her blog here http://fatfootadventures.blogspot.com/. It was her daughter's birthday which mean there will be free food so I thought why not go there might as well check the place.

When we reached the place I was surprised. Contrary to my belief the place  was so spacious. There were lots of free tables, chairs and open cottages for day tour guest. The area was clean. The beach has fine white sand. This is really a great place to hangout with friends and families. A very accessible  and budget friendly place. The free corkage for food is really a plus!

Below were the photos I took while waiting for lunch time.

Camp Holiday doesn't only have nice beach but they also have pool for kids and infinity pool exclusive for hotel guest. They also have hotel room, colored aircon cottages, dormitory room type, restaurant, billiards and function hall where it can hold a wedding reception and company activities.

I wasn't able to take photos of their infinity pool since we just went here for a day tour  so I took one from their website.

More or less 10 minutes you will reach Samal Island Barge Terminal and there you will see Camp Holiday Resort.

Once upon a time we received a text from Crown Regency that we won a 3 days and 2 nights voucher from a raffle but before we can have it we must stay for 90 minutes to listen to their advertisement so we opted to stay since they also offer free lunch but to my dismay it took us four hours and they just selling us this Club Ultima Timeshare well it is not for me it is very expensive.

After the sale talk they tour us around crown regency that's when I had the opportunity to take photos of their place.

Unfortunately I forgot to take picture of their pool, I just took the first picture above from their website. Their pool located not in private area because it is just beside the pathway from entrance to their rooms and restaurant.

The place is not that big however it is a good choice if you are as a tourist is looking for a place to stay while exploring Davao City. Their rooms are spacious especially family rooms. It has living room and kitchen downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs.
