Bingsu or bingsoo is a very popular and elaborate snack/dessert in Korea, especially during the summer season. This snack is composed of ice shavings and various ingredients such as sweetened condensed milk, fruit syrups and various fruits.

As a birthday gift my sister wanted me to treat her and my mother to a Korean Restaurant. Our first choice was Sagae Restaurant but I wanted a restaurant which is located near Gaisano Mall because I had to buy gift for my older brother as well. Good thing there was a new Korean cafe just walking distance Gaisano Mall, fronting Holy Cross College. 

This cafe offer more dessert especially Bingsoo than dish. We did not plan to order Bingsoo because we were hungry and we wanted to eat Main Dish rather than dessets, however my nephew wanted to have some.

Their food do not taste too salty, too sweet  or anything it is just right. I guess the price is just quite similar with other restaurant but from 5;00 pm to 8:00 pm they served meal that is just php98.00 - Php 118.00. I haven't seen a Korean restaurant that serve that cheap.  If you are more into Korean Dish this might not be the right place for you because they only have limited choices but if you are into eating Bingsoo you must visit this place!

My bf's best friend who was from Manila was assigned here in Davao City for some job related stuff. They took this chance to meet again and call their other high school friends  to reunite. We all meet at Bean Leaf Cafe where we had our dinner because one of their friend was working there. After that we went to Rizal Promenade to have some drinks. When it was almost midnight we were thinking which place to go next. A place that close late at least 2:00 am. 

I suggested that we will go to Torres St since there are few restaurants that still open after midnight. When we were walking along Torres St we saw K-1 Family KTV, we went there  to inquire what time they will close and they said 2:00 am. 

We paid Php 250 per hour for the KTV room because we went there Saturday. Sunday to Thursday rate is just Php150 per hour. K-1 is not only for KTV but they also have restaurant and spa. You can order food from their restaurant and have it deliver in you KTV room. Delicious foods while singing what can you ask for more?

We went to Specialist Clinic around 6:00 am to have our Annual Physical Exam. After all the lab test we had to wait for an hour for our result and for the Dr. to arrived. We decided to have our breakfast at Kairo's Kitchen however when we arrived there it was still close. I thought they open at 7:00 am but I guess they open at 8:00 am. Batu Cafe is located beside Kairo's Kitchen so we went there for breakfast instead. 

This was our second time in this cafe. The last time we went here was also for breakfast. We love this place because the ambiance is great and the foods are full of flavors. Delicious!

They offer variety of food and some of them are international cuisines. They have Western food, Vietnamese, Indian, Korean etc.  Food price range from Php120-Php400. This place is worth visiting!

Baby Back Ribs Php170.00

Koffiepauze is a translation of coffee break in Dutch. I chose to have our dinner here because it was just located near our office. I work night shift so I had to go the office after dinner. When we were scanning their menu we realized that their dish menu were limited. My bf  was disappointed because we  wanted to eat rice and meat since  we were hungry but there were only few choices.  We ordered Baby Back Ribs because  they said that the other menus will take some time to prepare. We don't want to wait too long for the food because we don't have much time.

Our disappointment was gone when our food arrived. The serving of their Baby Back Ribs was big. It taste good and the meat was so soft and tender. The smoothies was very sweet and I had cough that time so I just ordered tea.

For a change instead of watching movies and eating in weekend we decided to go for a swimming. We chose Felis Resort Complex because it was  just 5-10 minutes away from our home. The resort has no entrance fee you can come here anytime just to eat or unwind. When we arrived at Felis I didn't think that the place is quite big. I thought it was a very small resort. 

We had our lunch first at their restaurant before swimming in the pool. There were no tables and chairs in the restaurants so we just sit in the cottage in front of the restaurant. It was good to eat there since you will be seeing the fish pond while eating.

After we ate our lunch we went to the pool to swim. We paid 100 pesos for the pool entrance. There were free tables and chair to use and if you want to sing they also have a karaoke inside the pool. What I loved about their pool was that it was very spacious and clean. There were parts that were shallow and there were also deep so if you are  good in swimming you will enjoy it. They also have pool for kids.

I also took time to roam around the area and take pictures. I must say this place has a great potential however they really lack maintenance. They really need to do some upgrading with their facilities and they should maintain and clean this place. I believe it would make a great place like a garden resort since they have lots of space.

Felis Resort has lots to offer to their customer. They have wedding, proposal, debut and many kinds of packages.  You can play basketball, volleyball and billiards here. They also have swimming lesson. They have videoke room. You can even go fishing in their fishing pond. There is so much things you can do here.
